Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN 2)
An inherited syndrome raising MTC risk. Contraindicates GLP-1 use.
MEN 2 is a hereditary syndrome predisposing to medullary thyroid carcinoma and other endocrine tumors. Like a personal/family MTC history, it contraindicates GLP-1 receptor agonists.
