The schedule of gradually increasing a medication dose to reach a target.
GLP-1 dose titration typically starts at a low dose (semaglutide 0.25mg, tirzepatide 2.5mg) and increases every 4 weeks to reduce side effects. Many patients can't tolerate the full dose; slow titration improves adherence and reduces nausea.
